Josh brings a unique blend of business acquisition, digital marketing expertise, and data-driven growth strategies to Acquivision Capital. With a background and degree in microbiology from Clemson University—where he was an All-American triple jump athlete—he took an unconventional path into business and marketing, Sparked by a change of career and driven by a desire to create meaningful impact while prioritizing time with his family.

My journey with acquisitions began when I joined an acquisition accelerator and purchased my first online business back in 2015. After acquiring, I taught myself digital marketing to drive the growth, revenue and profitability of that company. I then partnered with an experienced CEO and shifted to creating my own marketing agency. Over the years, I have developed deep expertise in growth marketing, lead generation, and paid digital advertising, helping companies scale efficiently while managing multi-million-dollar ad budgets.
Most recently, as Head of Growth at FloatMe, I lead all growth & paid acquisition efforts, driving approximately 25% of all company growth and revenue. I played a pivotal role in leading the fintech startup to its first profitable months, optimizing ad spend, and maximizing ROI across various digital channels.

- Startup & High-Growth Experience – Extensive hands-on experience growing startups and scaling businesses, ensuring efficient customer acquisition and retention.
- Conversion Optimization – Skilled in creating high-performing campaigns, sales funnels, email marketing automation, and audience segmentation that drive predictable revenue growth.
